AP EAMCET 2020 : Application Form (Extended)

Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada on behalf of APSCHE. This examination is the prerequisite for admission into various professional courses offered in University/ Private Colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

TS EAMCET 2020 Application Form (Extended)

The Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture & Medical (Pharmacy, Veterinary etc.,) Common Entrance Test-2020 (TS EAMCET-2020) is being conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad on behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE). This examination is the prerequisite for admission into various professional courses offered in University/ Private Colleges in the state of Telangana for the academic year 2020-2021.

Last date for submission of Online Applications without Late Fee is extended upto 31-05-2020 in view of the COVID-19 lockdown.

All Common Entrance Tests (CETs) of Telangana State have been postponed and revised schedule for conduct of Tests will be announced in due course of time.

AP EAMCET 2020 Exam: Application Form (Extended)

Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture, Medical Common Entrance Test or commonly known as AP EAMCET is a state-level exam conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Kakinada for admissions to Engineering, Agriculture and Medical courses offered at more than 425 private institutes in Andhra Pradesh state. JNTU Kakinada is only the exam conducting authority for AP EAMCET on behalf of the AP State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE).

NEET 2020 Exam Date (Announced)

National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) on July 26, 2020. In a live session on May 5, 2020, Education Minister, Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank declared the NEET 2020 exam date. Also, he shared that a total of 16.84 lakh aspirants will be appearing for NEET UG 2020 entrance exams. The official NTA NEET notification will be released and provided on this page, when available. Earlier, the last date of NEET 2020 correction window was extended to May 3. NEET 2020 admit card release date will be released after May 17, after the Coronavirus lockdown. National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – NEET UG will be held for admission to 82,926 MBBS, 26,949 BDS, 52,720 AYUSH and 525 BVSc & AH seats across the nation. NTA will declare NEET result 2020 by June 4. The admission to All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) and Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) will be done through NEET scores.New Changes in NEET UG 2020

  • NEET 2020 brochure which was earlier available in two languages is now available in ten different languages including Assamese, English Kannada, Marathi, Odia, Tamil, Urdu, Gujarati, Hindi, Bengali and Telugu.
  • Application fee has gone up for General, SC/ST/PWD and transgender candidates. While General category now has to pay Rs 1500 (an increase of Rs 100), SC/ST/PwD and transgender have to pay Rs 800 (an increase of Rs 50). Fee for OBC NCL and EWS remains at Rs 1400.
  • Payment of NEET application fee is online ONLY. It is through net banking/Credit cards/Debit Cards or UPI through State Bank of India/Syndicate Bank/HDFC Bank/ICICI Bank/Paytm as service provider.
  • Now candidates have to upload their class 10 or equivalent passing certificate along with the application form of NEET.
  • Also, the scanned image of left thumb impression must also be uploaded. Candidates with no left thumb must upload the image of their right-hand thumb impression.
  • A new exam centre has been introduced – Leh (Ladakh) bringing the number of exam centres to 155.

  • NTA has sought permission to use Aadhaar Number for candidate identity verification. Once the permission is obtained, candidates will be updated accordingly.
  • A very important change is that AIIMS and JIPMER counselling will be through the NEET All India Counselling conducted by DGHS.

National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test commonly called will be conducted by National Testing Agency for admission to the following UG medical courses

  • All India Quota Seats
  • State Government Quota Seats
  • Central Institutions/Universities/Deemed Universities
  • State/Management/NRI Quota Seats in Private Medical / Dental /Ayurveda /Siddha /Unani Homeopathy Colleges or any Private University
  • Central Pool Quota Seats
  • All seats including NRI Quota as well as Management Quota, in private unaided/aided minority / non- minority medical colleges shall also be filled on the basis of merit obtained in NEET 2020.

JEE Mains April 2020 Exam Date (Out)

About JEE Main 2020

National Testing Agency will conduct JEE Main 2020 on July 18, 20, 21, 22 and 23. Previously, the exam was postponed due to the outbreak of COVID-19. It was scheduled for April 5, 7, 8, 9 and 11, 2020. NTA has now closed the application form correction facility along with exam centre change facility on May 3. The computer based test will be conducted for two papers – JEE Main Paper 1 for B.Tech/ B.E and Paper 2 for B.Arch/ B.Planning. The application form was released on February 7 and the last date to complete the JEE Main registration was March 12, 2020. The authorities will release the admit card of JEE Main 2020 in online mode. JEE Main 2020 result will be announced in online mode and will be valid for the current admission year only. JEE Main ranks will be used for admissions to UG engineering programmes offered by 31 NITs, 25 IIITs and 28 CFTIs in addition to admission in states like Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Bihar, Jharkhand and Nagaland and many other private universities and institutes.

NTA JEE Main is held twice a year in January and May. Candidates can appear for both and the better of the two scores will be considered for ranking purposes. About 8,69,010 candidates appeared for the January session of JEE Main which was held from January 6 to 9 in 570 exam centres. 9 students scored 100 percentile as per the JEE Main result (January) for Paper I which was declared on January 17. The result for Paper 2 was announced on January 23.
